How Jim Edwards Would Dominate The Affiliate Leaderboard And Become The #1 Top-Producing Super Affiliate

There are 6 Phases to Jim’s plan:

  1. Why sell Clickfunnels as an affiliate?
    1. Recurring Revenue
    2. Foundation product they can’t easily quit
    3. Great customer service
    4. Can be used for many different groups
  2. Pick and Analyze your Niche
  3. Create your value “trade”
  4. Start adding consistent value to your niche
  5. Become the expert
  6. Consistent, Non-stop, content marketing and promotion

Becoming a top affiliate depends on your time availability. If you’re working full time at something else, I assume you can do 2 hours a day. If you put in 100% effort means I assume 8-10 hours a day. If so this should not take 100 days to implement, probably closer to 5 weeks.

He breaks everything down week-by-week so you know exactly what to focus on. Let’s dive in.

Week 1 – Who should you sell to?

Get your mind right. Develop a servant mentality. You must give value to get value in return.

Pick an audience to serve. Where are they? Social media groups, pages, forum, etc.

What are their MAJOR pain points, and what are their BIG desires?

Next research available solutions. Who is selling to them now and why are people buying from them? (traffic, website: are they using WordPress, Leadpages, Builderall, etc.) You must be able to show them how Clickfunnels is a better solution.

Make a HUGE list of:

  • Problems -> Clickfunnels is the Solution
  • Questions -> Clickfunnels is the Answer
  • Roadblocks -> Clickfunnels is the way Around
  • Results they want -> Clickfunnels is the Path/Vehicle
  • Example: Real Estate Agents
    1. Problems: Need more Buyer Leads and Seller Leads. Also running ads that Don’t Work!
    2. Questions: How can I do this without having to Hire someone to do this for me?
    3. Roadblocks: Time & Technology
    4. Results: More commissions and more free time

Tie Clickfunnels to All Of This

  • How is it the solution to their problems?
  • How does it answer all their questions?
  • How does it eliminate roadblocks?
  • How does it get them the results they want?

Results / Actions / To-Do’s This Week

  • Have a complete profile of who you’re targeting
  • Know their problems, questions and roadblocks
  • Know how to tie the affiliate offer to those items
  • Literally take a piece of paper and divide it into two columns. 
    • Left side list all the problems, questions, roadblocks & results
    • Right side list out how Clickfunnels fixes it for them.

Week 2 – Why should they buy through you?

People don’t buy without a reason WHY! Create Value to TRADE for buying through your link.

Create Your Unique Offer. You have to give them a reason to buy through you. Your best bet is to create a “Quick Results” Companion for Clickfunnels.

Example:

  • How Every Realtor Can Get 100 Leads A Month
  • How Every Plumber Can 10X Their Online Leads
  • How Every Amazon Seller Can _____

They key is to make a BIG PROMISE + Show How To Use Clickfunnels to make it happen.

DON’T Talk in General… Talk directly to the audience for how to get results!

This will be the bonus for them buying through your link. This is WHY they should buy from YOU.

Create value you can trade for simply buying through you. You are literally going to create a product / service / tool they can’t get anywhere else but by buying Clickfunnels through you!

This could be a collection of videos, in the example of Realtors, showing how to setup a funnel they can use to get buyers. Could be a collection of ads. It could be a collection of funnels with ads.

Keep it simple so you can get it done fast, but very valuable.

This trade can be:

  • Webinar
  • Checklist
  • Training Videos
  • Software
  • Templates
  • “Done for you”
  • Share funnels
  • Whatever it is… it has to make the affiliate offer AMAZING!

Here is an example of what an IDEAL irresistible offer would look like:

  • Webinar
  • Checklist
  • Training Videos
  • Templates (basically Share Funnels)
  • Give 1 hour of your time to help get everything setup

Your job is to help them get results: Easier, Cheaper, Faster.

Sticking with the realtor theme, here is how Jim would create an offer using Clickfunnels:

  • I’d create a bunch of videos showing Realtors how to use Clickfunnels to get more buyer and seller leads.
  • I’d offer them a bunch of share funnels that they could use immediately.
    • Here’s a share funnel for getting buyers
    • Here’s a share funnel for getting sellers
    • Here’s a share funnel for getting first time buyers
    • Here’s a share funnel for getting move up sellers
    • Here’s a share funnel for getting downsizing buyers
    • Any other share funnels you can think of. Create it yourself or get someone to make them for you.
  • I’d also have a bunch of reports they could use as PLR. Go to Gutenberg.org, Government reports in public domain. “I’ve got all these reports you can use to get people into your funnels.”

  • Get your bonus offer done, create and ready to go!
  • Have a basic sales page set up for it. (Headline & Offer with dollar values, total values, but yours FREE when you sign up for Clickfunnels on the 2-week trial!)

    • Make sure to explain HOW the bonus would be delivered
    • You’re affiliate link is the call to action (link to the 2 week trial)
    • You’re bonus should be the thing that will get everything setup so they can’t quit, so when the 2 weeks is up they’ve already got stuff going and they have to keep paying very month.

Week 3 – Start Interacting With Target Audience / Create Funnel To Build List

Start answering questions on social media, forums, etc. Start adding value to the community you’ve chosen to serve.

Do NOT sell in other people’s GROUPS! We want to raise our profile. The people who are experts in the group are always adding value and helping, not spamming.

Create my own Facebook Group to support members of your target audience in this area. Have link to group on my profile page and Facebook page.

Entice people to join our group with a free Opt-in offer: Free webinar, free report, best podcast episode, etc.

Make the offer for your group very prominent on your profile. This is your Facebook Funnel – drive people from your profile to join your group.

Create a FB Page that supports your group also (this you will use for paid ads later). Encourage people in your group to like your page. When you post on the page, share it on the group and ask people to like your page.

Results / Actions / To Do’s This Week

  • Keep adding value daily and leverage that value on your own group, page, profile, other social media, blog, etc.. Curate other people’s content.
  • Create a Facebook Group
  • Create a Facebook Page
  • Do a pinned post for your unique offer at the top of your FB Page & Group and deliver it in the group
  • Funnel people from your profile over to your Facebook group
  • ***Get in the habit of sharing value every day online. Value is your currency!
    • Answer questions in groups
    • Leverage those answers as content on your profile, page, and in your group
    • Find a cool question in somebody else’s group, answer it, take that question and answer and share it on your profile. Or post it on your profile as a new post. Post it on your page, post it on your group. Leverage the crap out of it!

Week 4 – Keep Raising Your Profile Online

Keep answering questions on social media, forums, etc. Keep adding value to the community you’ve chosen to serve.

In your group / on your page keep leveraging those answers and now start bridging to the affiliate offer as a solution as appropriate.

“Hey Clickfunnels makes this super easy. Check out this video I made that shows you how” Link to video on your FB page, or own site.

Answer a question and bridge to a video/article about Clickfunnels.

Results / Actions / To Do’s This Week

  • Keep adding value daily and leverage that value on your own group, page, profile, other social media, blog, etc.
  • On your own page, profile, group, leverage that value and bridge to the solution.

Week 5 – Take The Initiative / Become the Go-To Expert

Take daily action! Keep answering questions on social media, forums etc. Keep adding value to the community you’ve chosen to serve.

Do an Ask Campaign to: Your group, your page, your profile and All the groups that you’ve been adding value for the last month.

Offer a Free Master Class in exchange for asking you a question. This is where you’ll prove your expertise and cement yourself as the expert. EZ Button – Plan to deliver it on your page / In your group as a FB Live.

Then take the embed code of the video and reuse it wherever you see fit. Use Zoom so you can screen share.

Results / Actions / To Do’s This Week

  • Keep adding value daily and leverage that value on your own group, page, profile, other social media, blog, etc.
  • Do an Ask Campaign
  • Gather up all the questions you can find from Groups, forums, etc, also
  • Create the sales copy for your MasterClass (really simple: Big benefit headline, list all the cool stuff you’re going to teach them on the masterclass, then give an invitation to sign up)
    • Figure out how you’ll have people register or just use a FB Event to point everyone to your page on a date and time
    • Pick a date for your MC next week and start telling everyone so they can come for free

Week 6 – Deliver Your Masterclass

Again, take daily action! Keep answering questions on social media, forums etc. Keep adding value to the community you’ve chosen to serve.

Start promoting your Masterclass. Offer your Masterclass everywhere you can (without pissing off Group Owners).

Ask group owners if you can promote the Masterclass in their group. “Hey, I’m doing this free Masterclass. I’m not even asking people to opt-in. Is there anyway you might let me promote this inside the group? Because it’s going to be a lot of cool value.” All it takes is just one to help put you into the stratosphere.

You want to promote it on your website, blog, FB Profile, Page, Own Group. Ask other people to promote it and share it.

This is NOT a pitch webinar. This is you providing massive value to get people to see you as an expert!

Now DO the Masterclass. Demo / Mention Clickfunnels throughout. Do not be so over the top that people say “This is just an ad for X! There is no value here. It’s just a pitch!”

If you’re teaching people how to setup an Opt-In Funnel, call it a buyer lead funnel. Talk about how a buyer lead funnel is structured. What makes a great buyer lead funnel. You have to have a great headline, a great ethical bribe to get people to signup. Let me show you this cool tool I use and how to set it up.

A pitch will piss people off. Be smart about it. Teach them what to do and then position Clickfunnels as:

  • Time saver
  • Speed hack
  • Money saver
  • “Sure there are other tools you can use, but I use CF because in my opinion it’s the best”
  • Key to success

Think spice in a recipe… Too much ruins it, but “just right” = magic! Do this right people will love you. Do it wrong people will say you’re a jerk.

Week 7 – Add Juice To Your Offer

Keep answering questions on social media, forums etc. Keep adding value to the community you’ve chosen to serve. I know, we’re repeating this EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Gosh it must be tiring to be seen as an expert 😁

Publish your Masterclass just like you would a product you would sell. Get it published and ready for people to go through it online, even if it’s just on your Facebook page so people can find it and get to it.

ADD the Masterclass to the BONUS offer you created in Week 2 for people buying through your link. Modify your offer to include this amazing new Masterclass.

Start doing demos of Clickfunnels if possible, if you haven’t already. Go through that big list of problems and show them how Clickfunnels is the solution.

Start directly tying Problems, Questions, Roadblocks & Results (PQRR) to the affiliate product.

Start pushing people to your BONUS offer consistently. Add those Demo and PQRR videos to the archive that goes with your Masterclass to build it out. Think of it like “If I owned Clickfunnels for __ (ie. Realtors), I’m creating the video how-to of Clickfunnels for Realtors”.

  • Keep adding value daily and leverage that value on your own group, page, profile, other social media, blog, etc.
  • Publish your Masterclass just like you would a product you would sell
  • Start doing demos of Clickfunnels itself and tie it directly to solving / answering their PQRR

Week 8 – Build Momentum

Keep answering questions on Social Media, forums ,etc. Keep adding value to the community you’ve chosen to serve. Keep doing demos and PQRR videos for Clickfunnels. Keep pushing people to your BONUS offer consistently as your call to action in your content.

Week 9 – Time To Start More Aggressive Marketing

Keep doing what you were doing in Week 8. But now we’re also going to develop a Perfect Webinar! “3 Secrets to ____”

Example: “3 Secrets To Creating A Non-Stop Avalanche Of Buyer And Seller Leads In The Real Estate Business”

  • Big payoff your audience wants
  • 3 Secrets Perfect Webinar
  • Your Pitch / Stack is for
    • Your Bonus +
    • Your Masterclass +
    • All the goodies they get with Clickfunnels
  • Your CTA is for them to sign up for the affiliate offer
  • “You get all this for FREE, you just have to go over to Clickfunnels and sign up!”

  • Keep adding value daily and leverage that value on your own group, page, profile, other social media, blog, etc.
  • Keep pushing people to your bonus offer consistently

Week 10 – Put Your Perfect Webinar To Work

Keep answering questions on Social Media, forums ,etc. Keep adding value to the community you’ve chosen to serve. Keep doing demos and PQRR videos for Clickfunnels. Keep pushing people to your BONUS offer consistently as your call to action in your content.

Do you Perfect Webinar LIVE for anybody you can get to show up.

Promote it everywhere you can. Make it your mission to get as many butts in seats as you can. No matter how many or how few you get, you WILL do the webinar this week!

Week 11 – Now Start Doing Some Paid Ads

Keep answering questions on Social Media, forums ,etc. Keep adding value to the community you’ve chosen to serve. Keep doing demos and PQRR videos for Clickfunnels. Keep pushing people to your BONUS offer consistently as your call to action in your content. (are you seeing a pattern yet?)

Do your Perfect Webinar LIVE AGAIN for anybody you can get to show up.

Start tracking which content has performed best. Turn your best content into an ad. Promote at least one ad and TEST results. Keep it simple and spend $10 and Boost a post. Promote it to the friends of the people who are already liking your page.

Do your Perfect Webinar LIVE AGAIN for anybody you can get to show up. Listen to feedback and start tweaking. Some people will show up for the same webinar every week!

Promote at least one ad and TEST results.

Start advertising your Perfect Webinar. See if you can get paid traffic to show up to your webinar and convert. If so, that is where the evergreen riches come from!

Week 13 – Pick Up Speed

  • Keep answering questions on Social Media, forums ,etc.
  • Keep adding value to the community you’ve chosen to serve.
  • Keep doing demos and PQRR videos for Clickfunnels
  • Keep pushing people to your bonus offer
  • Do your Perfect Webinar LIVE YET AGAIN for anybody you can get to show up
  • Promote at least one ad and TEST results
  • Run an ad for your Perfect Webinar

Week 14 – Consistency Is Key

Same as Week 13.

Week 15 + Wash – Rinse – Repeat

Put your live Perfect Webinar into an evergreen / automated offer. You’ve done it at least 4 or 5 times by now and you should be seeing good results. Keep doing it live to tweak if you wish.

Keep doing what you’re doing in Week 14 every week for the rest of your life for current niche audience.

Now go back to Week 1, pick a NEW niche audience to sell Clickfunnels to!

Repeat the process for the new niche. Do this 3X per year. Maintain the new niches and the old niches with daily content and consistent promotion. At this point you’ll probably be making enough to hire a virtual assistant.

The BIG Takeaways:

  • Nobody will buy without a reason why
  • The reason why is you’re trading them MASSIVE value to get them to do something through you that they should be doing anyway
  • And even if it’s not your product you can still be viewed as the niche expert

Conclusion

Phew! Now that’s what I call a plan!

It just proves that if you can deliver consistent value to your target market you can become an expert.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner with no experience. You just have to start. Choose your market, and just add value. Share what you learn with others. The more you share, the more you elevate your own status.

Over time you will be the go-to person in your niche. And when you leverage the power and outstanding offers of Clickfunnels you can make a substantial and consistent income!
